I heard Avant Gardner a few years ago, and I liked it at that time, however, the more and more that I heard it, I started to really dislike her deadpan way of singing. And it reminds me of how Sheryl Crow would sing in the 90s which I didn’t care for in the 90s either. I appreciate her illustrative type of storytelling in her lyrics, but overall in general, I couldn’t get past the sound of her voice and I couldn’t get into the Album.
