So funny to see this one selected! This is one of those albums I'll see every so often while flipping through the bins at a record store. I've always noticed the cover but I don't think I've ever checked out the album or artist. Excited to dig in!
I Talk To The Wind is an absolutely beautiful track. Such an amazing landing pad after 21st Century Schizoid Man
Just relistening and am blown away yet again by I Talk To The Wind. The recording of the drums is absolutely incredible.
I’m glad you enjoyed the album, and that “ I talk to the wind” specifically moved you. I have really enjoyed listening to King Crimson and tuning into the percussion on different tracks. I saw a cool performance on YouTube where they had three drummers all playing! Incredible!
@Angelina67 I really enjoyed the whole album. They seem have have been typecasted as the most extreme parts of the prog rock genre they helped create. I'm actually surprised with how accessible some of these songs are.
This has stood the test of prog time like no other album. It’s influenced almost every artist in the genre over 50 years later.
