Hey everyone! I am The Versatile Vixen, an award-winning spoken word poet here in Atlanta, GA. I have an affinity for all things in the art scene, but music has always been my favorite. Here you will be exposed to some of my favorite albums and we'll listen to some new ones together. Some of my favorite musicians are Daley, Marsha Ambrosius, Ledisi, Jill Scott, Coco Jones, Jessie Ware, Jessie J, Leela James, Ella Mai, Sinead Harnett, & Sabrina Claudio. Nia here 👋🏾 I’ve been intentionally expanding what I listen to over the past year, and specifically trying to find no skip albums to add to my vinyl collection. (The experience of physical media is so much richer than streaming.) Jazz and neo soul are elite IMO but my taste spans oldies, rock, blues, etc. My favorite artist is Cleo Sol but Yussef Dayes, Venna, Alex Isley, Snoh Aalegra, Jorja Smith, Daley, and many more also stay in the rotation.
