Sinephro recorded this largely on harp and modular synth, but it doesn't sound like either of those things, exactly. It sounds like atmosphere with structure underneath. Like something breathing. What's landing for you on first listen? Any moments where the record surprised you?

Space 1.8 pulls you in quietly and holds you there. Calm without being passive, centered without being empty. It reads like a modern interpretation of jazz, but filtered through ambient music's patience and space. The structure is there if you listen for it. Most people won't, and that's fine. The record works either way. Sinephro was new to me before this. That's the best way to find a record like this. No expectations, just the music. I was drawn in immediately. While it might not be heavy rotation material, I'll keep coming back to it for a specific mood. Already added the vinyl to my want list, which says more than a rating does.
