Fun listen to kick off the club with. This sort of dance music is a bit out of my wheelhouse so it's a bit of a challenge to articulate in a thoughtful way. It seemed to stretch into industrial at times, which I really enjoyed. I loved the bass synth sounds as well. Some seemed layered to increase presence. Others reached sub-bass frequencies to get good and dark. Was blindsided by 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover and the Mad Lib appearance. Super eclectic. I do sometimes struggle through the vocal samples with repeating lines/mantras sitting inside echo washes. I appreciate it in the context of a show, but it sometimes feels like a box being checked on a record. Excited to hear what's next!
