Through its incorporation of Indian classical music, does Love You To - Remastered 2009 feel like a genuine artistic breakthrough or a superficial gimmick?

Revolver (Remastered) by The Beatles · Flower Children

I have probably listened to this album hundreds of times and this song still sounds interesting and fresh every time. No gimmick, just a new vibe that continues to be interesting all of these years later.

@Swortham1 totally agree. I was almost offended when I saw the word gimmick there.

Oh I thought it was your word. You didn’t write the questions?

BlueSuedeSuzClub Host

@Swortham1 no I didn’t do it! I don’t know where they come from honestly. They just appear with the album.

I wish they would give us questions that feel a bit less like a job. Lol

@Swortham1 if you have any suggestions let me know! I’m always trying to make the discussion topics a bit better.

I would like to discuss more about what aspects of a tune or album I really dig, how they make me feel, what they remind me of, etc. The questions seem more like for a music major than a fan. Not saying they are bad questions, just as a fan of music who isn’t necessarily a musician or arranger, I don’t know how to answer them. Not sure if that helps. Ultimately, I will answer the ones I can. I am just happy to be able to connect with other music fans.

@Swortham1 I agree. I’m still new to this, so I’ve got a lot to figure out. If there’s anything you want to discuss beyond these questions, you can put them in the Listening Room. It may be easier to talk in there too.

@Swortham1 that’s awesome feedback. Thank you!

@BlueSuedeSuz @Swortham1 we’re all new to this. Just for context, Sound Club is only eight months old. Love all the excitement, as well as the healthy skepticism. It all helps this thing get better. Got some fun new things coming in two weeks or so!
