This is terrifically warm recording and one I’ve never spent any time with before so this was a welcome introduction. Sent me down an online rabbit hole of background reading that reveals a who’s who of soul legends of the era. I think my favorites are mid-tempo tracks like 634-5789 and Ninety Nine and One Half.
