I had trouble deciding between this albums and Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme. They both came out in 66 and have some big hits on them. I listened to them back to back today, which was pretty cool. They’re really different, but I think Sounds of Silence was better to listen to after Sunshine Superman. They’re both storytelling albums, but they’re really different. So if I had to pick a Simon and Garfunkel album out of the two, I’d choose Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme. But if I had to choose a storytelling album, I’d chose Sunshine Superman. I think probably just because it’s not as dark and gloomy.
