With its sharp political commentary, does Taxman - Remastered 2009 hold up as a stronger album opener than the band's previous love songs?

I wouldn’t say it’s a stronger opener, but it’s certainly a good one-and different from the rest. It feels like the perfect way to open this album. I love how it goes from this right into Eleanor Rigby. I feel like the contrast between the two leaves you wanting more and wondering what will happen next.
