What does the horn section add here that a guitar-led arrangement couldn't, and where do you feel that most?

Definitely on The Fly. I thought it softened their sound a bit. Even if it was all a lot of notes played very fast, it brought in a purely organic sound that wasn't sitting anywhere else on the album.
