Album is an utter beast to digest.

Holy crap the final section of Altitude Lake. That riff is absolutely disgusting.

It's kind of funny that I felt that was such a massive peak. It signaled a pretty dramatic turn to the backside of the album which is way more...chill? Up until the closer, at least.

This one threw me for a loop. Being critical, as usual, I really don't like the sequencing of the album. There's obviously two distinct sides to this album - the front being way more aggressive rock and the back being way more psychedelic. I thought the whole thing would have been better served if those two sounds were weaved together throughout one complete album. I definitely preferred the front side of the album. The energy and intensity of it is pretty awesome. The backside just dragged for me.
