Does the Make Them series of tracks function as a cohesive arc, or does the concept feel more like a branding exercise?

I guess I feel like it's a conceptual thought that doesn't really land? I like the vibe of the four songs together. A bit more stripped back. I like Drake's flow on Make Them Pay. As far as an arc, I'm not sure? I kind of took it as "make them feel sorry for me", "just kidding, I'm really on top", "I don't get credit for it though", "so I'm going to bury it". I'm being super reductive and taking liberties with those ideas because I honestly feel like Drake is just complaining most of the time.
