The full concert set from the movie stop making sense. The movie is worth watching to go along with this to make the albums listening experience better.

Such an incredible show for so many reasons. Watching the concert footage, you really get a sense that the show was a story. From the boombox to the costumes to the stage design -- there was an incredible amount of thought put into the visual accompaniment to the music. It really is mindblowing to watch. What's even more amazing is that the music itself holds up without the visual support. There's an undeniable energy to so many tracks -- Found a Job, Life During Wartime, What a Day That Was, Take Me to the River. There are meditative, hypnotic segments in Slippery People, I Zimbra, Crosseyed and Painless. There are timeless classics in Burning Down the House, This Must Be. thePlace, Genius of Love. I could only imagine what it must have been like to be in the room for one of these shows. To me, the best thing about Talking Heads is duality of their surface level hit making with the depth of the art. It always feels like a choose your own adventure. And this live album showcases that with a breadth that few other bands can deliver.

I continue to love the movie just because it's stunning visuals and directing unlike other concerts the crowd is not show until the end and really shows off the stories being presented.
