How does Clean land as a closing track compared to the bigger, glossier songs before it?

I think it still pulls a lot of inspiration from 80s pop, but more as a ballad. That synth bass line lands really well. Maybe it would have worked better as a cool down after something like Shake It Off? But I still think it holds it's own at the end of the album.
