The Boss has become one of Brown's most sampled tracks — what specifically makes its groove so irresistible and reusable?

The beat and the rhythm just has this intoxicating rolling quality to it. You could loop it for days and not get tired of this groove. It's perfect for MCs to just stream of consciousness flow on it

The thing that stands out to me is the connection between the lead guitar and the horns. I like how you labeled it - it has a rolling feeling to it. It naturally loops while feeling loose and organic. I think the panning of the guitar on the right and the horns on the left gives it a cool dynamic, too.
