The Listening Room

I have never listened to a single song by her and didn’t have high hopes for the album. Strangely though, I really liked it. I plan to dig into her other records.

This felt like a massive breakout for both Billie and Finneas. The production on the album is pretty astounding, ultimately winning the grammy if I remember correctly. I haven't listened to it since it first came out. I still love the opening track setting the whole thing up. Siblings making music in their bedroom.

Geez...the dynamics of this album give me goosebumps. i love you is so incredibly intimate, but it is so heightened by the journey through the rest of the album. Arriving at a song that's so bare after all that?? *chef's kiss
