Where does Present Tense land for you emotionally, and does it hit differently now than it might have at twenty?

People have joked with me that I’m an “old soul” haha but for me it still remains profound for me and is Vedder’s finest moment lyrically. His vocal delivery and emphasis on the song as it unfolds is a complete masterclass. Everything works perfectly on that song
