On Husbands, does the minimalist instrumentation build genuine tension or does it lean too heavily into monotony?

I don’t think it’s either. This is a track that really showcases Kenny Beat’s influence. It’s a really minimal, beat driven track that gives space for Winter’s vocals (and the harmonies) a space to build emotion. It reminds me a bit of Kenny’s work with IDLES on Crawler.
