You really need two listens for every dry cleaning album. Take it all in the first time and then try and get a lyric sheet out the second time and really figure out how the words match with the sounds. This band has done it again although with a little bit of a softer approach and less confrontational that previous records. It’s still exploring the promising sound space from a full force backing band with great guitars and hooks combined with the deadpan vocal delivery.
