How do HECATES REFLECTION IS A TRICK and THE TRICK play off each other as a pair?

I hear a lot of similarity in the drums that helps bridge Hecates to The Trick. Both feels really meditative and trancey. I guess the latter has more layers in the synths that makes it feel like a crescendo coming out of the prior track. It’s an interesting stretch of music, even if it does feel like it requires some patience.
