So this is one of the most universally acclaimed albums from 2025 (the summary on sound club says it’s from 2001). The song Taxes came up in a few of my mixes and I heard the frontman Cameron Winter also put out well regarded solo material but otherwise am coming into this blind. I even got this band confused with the popular jam band Goose. A few tracks in it already sound like they are trying something complex and bold that rewards a few listen and can’t be pigeonholed into the next indie rock thing everyone is supposed to like.
