Maybe it feels of the time? I've enjoyed the sound of the vocals throughout, but the overall sound seems a little one dimensional. The songwriting is fantastic so the album is still great, but it's a very definable sound.

@Jangles absolutely agree. While the album is well constructed it clearly finds its influences from Lou Reed, Ramones, Television and wears them on their sleeves throughout. This makes it where their songs can easily fit seamlessly on a mixtape/playlist of these artists.
