Does Common People still land the way it did on release, or has time changed how the song reads?

Common People is one of those songs that transport me to a few very vivid memories so it will always hold up for me. The fact that it’s been covered a few times and used in lots of media, makes it feel timeless. You want to stop and listen to the whole thing.

I can't really comment since I'm not sure how it landed at release. I can say that I knew of this tune before I had heard of Pulp. It definitely caught my ear then and still does. In that sense, it does feel timeless. Its a great tune.
