How effectively does "Beware of The Stare" set a dark, cinematic tone for the entire album's narrative?

It's definitely dark. I feel like "cinematic" is the big thing here. The actual composition of the beat is such a journey. There are smooth, unexpected shifts all over the place. The instrumentation feels like it's a dracula film or something. (Is that a harpsichord?!) The backup singers narrating the whole thing is so f'n dope.
