What do you make of Damo Suzuki's vocals when you can't really parse what he's saying?

It's so strange! I typically don't listen to lyrics. They're more of an instrument. The impossibility of figuring out what Damo actually feels like a distraction, though. I can't help but listen intently. Maybe it's because it's my first listen.
