@William it's so weird, though. The drums and bass feel so upbeat. I think that organ really feels so solemn it pulls the whole track down. Pretty crazy.
@William That's the beauty of it for me. It's like being heartbroken but you still have to function. Not to be too TMI, but when I'm a teacher and I have had to work and keep a positive upbeat demeanor while going through some of the worst things imaginable. So, I think this is a good representation of that. But I could also be full of shit 🤷🏼♂️
When I was much younger I thought this was peak romance 🤣 I still find it to be sincere, and it fits because if you pay attention to the words, he’s clearly an unhappy person unless he’s with this particular person, “you make me feel like I’m fun again.” It’s a very “yearny” love song, maybe a bit obsessive?
