Maybe a hot take, but I would have felt more closure had the album ended with Disintegration. I don't hate Untitled. I just didn't like the emotional turn that happened at Homesick. It tried to pull me out of the muck and I didn't want to leave.
I never thought about Disintegration as a closer! That’s interesting! Makes me want to shuffle the album order around and see how it sounds. I thought the point of Untitled was to leave you sort of catching your breath? At least it did for me.
@ghostpetals It definitely has that feeling. The lyrics read like a retrospective, as well.
