Blood Of The Past's vocal moment stands apart from the rest of the record — does it feel like a natural climax or a jarring shift?

I don't think the vocal moment itself was either. I do think the track is a climax on the album. The poem feels like an expression of the album and it's themes, sitting in the midst of the most intense groove in it's journey. This thing hits HARD. One of those tracks that I immediately shared with my closest music friends.
