I'm sure these things are not connected, but the resemblance between the alien voice that follows George Clinton in P-Funk (Wants to get funked up) sounds eerily similar to Mad Lib's Quasimoto....
@Jangles It very well may have been inspired by that. Since Marlin was fond of sampling more unusual records for his productions, it would have been a good way for him to incorporate a P-Funk influence in a different way than just sampling one of their records.
Its been a minute since I've given this album a listen, I remember it being great funk, but I also remember not liking it as much as funkadelic
@William funkadelic has more of a rock tilt to it. I love them both just a little different flavor
