Super excited for this one. Just came out today! These two kids are some of the most exciting pure musicians I’ve heard in the last few years.
Got to spin it on background today but am looking forward to a focused listen this week! I loved their first LP.
Can’t wait to see how all this touring and a bit more maturity changes their work.
I watched Rick Beato’s interview with DOMi and JD in preparation for this album. One of the more thoughtful conversations I’ve heard about an emerging artist/band and their new album. Highly highly recommend it if you have any interest in their music.
Just got through my first listen. There’s so much to sort through with this one. It’s definitely a step forward from Not Tight. The pervasiveness of vocals caught me off guard. Not sure how I feel. The orchestral arrangements were a pleasant surprise, though. Enjoyable first spin. Definitely deserves another, Anyone else get a chance to check it out yet?
Had much the same reaction to the vocals. Second listen was better because I was prepared for it. I think it’s really solid and they’re keeping my interest up!
