They feel similar in their intent - gentle transitions to/from the chaos. I think Dolphin Dance has a slightly more optimistic, upbeat vibe than Maiden Voyage. The latter had a bit of an ominous feel that hints at the music to come. Dolphin Dance has a sense of relief to me. Almost like a victory lap.
