@Jangles i just got the Mobile Fidelity Sound lab one step pressing of this album, the bass tone and grove that it brought out in this pressing that ive never noticed before is amazing
@Jangles so are you aware of mofi, they're one of many audio file labels that do these pressing like this, analog productions does them, Because Sound Matters, and The Definitive Sound Series are all labels that do one steps, a one step pressing cuts out all the middle steps When pressing the vinyl record, so what is as close to listening to the original master tapes as possible
@William super interesting. They seem a bit pricey. Might have to treat myself to one eventually to see how they sound.
@Jangles they're definitely pricey, i can afford them purely because I have the luxury of living at home.Rent free still, so like yeah if I ordered them , I get the excuse of i'm building credit
@Jangles ya I own 4 so far, two of them were christmas gifts, the other two I bought, then I have two in the mail on the way
@William I thought the "Original Master Record" banner at the top of the album looked familiar. Looks like my copy of Weezer's Pinkerton is a MoFi pressing.
