Such a unique album from a unique band. I’ve listened a bunch and still don’t know how I feel. On one hand, the music has an undeniable energy and IDGAF attitude towards musical norms. It’s feels so freah. In the other hand, I don’t know if it will stand the test of time. In the absence of traditional song structure, hooks, melodies, etc. it’s easy to move through the album without attachment. I really enjoy it, but I’m honestly still poking at it to see what it is…

ok so Im finally putting this into words... i probably tried listening to it all six times during the week. Now, if I was presented this album without knowing ANYTHING about them, referring to their look, Id be more impressed. Yes, it invokes King Crimson, and some other proggy stuff I crave. But, each song was a repetitive riff layered over another over another.... not enough substance... im left with the thought of "whats next" within the song. now if this was a band, Id be more impressed, but since I know its loops, im kind of soured. The music does sound good, but, ike Ive said before, I am a live music person first...and this live, Id be bored after 10 minutes. This is not weird for the sake of being weird music like say, The Residents... another band thats mentioned when you read about this band.
