This is a new app, and there are still bugs apparently. I am trying to figure out how to add our own ratings for each album. But please remember, give the whole album a listen all the way thru before starting. Even if you are familiar with it...give it a fresh listen

@SeanInConcert sorry about that. It's working as intended in text messages, but I'm seeing the FB issue on my end too. I'm going to have to do some digging on it tomorrow. I'll get it updates as soon as I figure things out.

@SeanInConcert of course! I appreciate the help. Doing this on my own, so the extra eyes are a huge help. I just checked and everything seems to be working on my end. If you're logged in you should see the feedback, message bubble, and log out buttons. If you're logged out you'll just see sign up and sign in. If you're on mobile the log in and sign in buttons are in the drop down menu. If you're logged in you'll only see the log out button in that same drop down. It sounds like that's what you are seeing? If not, I'll shoot you an email so you can send a screenshot. (Or just email me at michael@soundclub.app) Thanks again for the help.

About to dive into this week's pick, but wanted to wrap things up regarding Oingo Boingo's Only a Lad. I've really been stuck on the album. (In a good way.) Elfman's complex compositions applied to an 80s aesthetic is way up my alley. However, I kept coming back to @Heather 's point about Little Girls and some of the lyrical subject matter across the album. I ended up digging into it and it seems that Elfman turned to newspaper articles to inspire some of the characters and stories in the album. A lot of the lyrics seem satirical, but take on a pretty uncomfortable POV. Judging by some of the quotes and interviews that was entirely the intent. It definitely makes for a few puzzling moments while listening. I appreciate art that pokes, prods and evokes more questions than answers. I can also see how the album could be pretty disconcerting. (It looks like the music video for Little Girls was actually banned in Canada...) Anyways, wanted to offer up some parting thoughts on a provocative pick. On to the next one!
yeah... its like Sting/ The Police.. "every breath you take" and "dont stand so close to me". Nobody raised a fuss when those songs came out, but generations later, they are targeted songs... I totally get it
