this recording get a 9.5...not a ten because its not long enough. i have to admit I was expecting much heavier stuff and more astonishing guitar work from Sean. This is a great intro to this duo collaboration. Now, see them LIVE!!

Im expecting a lot of heavy stuff here. Ive seen this outfit live a couple of times, and before I heard any studio works. What I came out of those live shows is the Sean Ono Lennon is a damn beast on the guitar. He can SHRED!! Wasnt expecting that, so I am hoping to hear more of that, but if not, Im good. Les Claypool really cant do any wrong by me. I know what to expect when his name is tagged onto a project.

Yes! Claypool is a monster. Have you heard oysterhead?

@Jangles Ive seen Oysterhead, Colonel Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, Bucket of Bernie Brains, and of course Primus. All of his collabs are wild, but this one totally shocked me live.

@SeanInConcert That's awesome. I had to bail on seeing Oysterhead in '01 (I think?) and then had the show cancelled in '20 because of the pandemic. I'm a massive Phish head so there's been a fair amount of crossover into the world of Primus and Claypool. Totally agree that this one has a way different vibe. It's nice to hear Les as more of a supporting piece than a constant feature in the music.

I liked it. I was surprised, too. Claypool was way more chill than his usual self. I really appreciated hearing Sean’s vocals. Les can be fun, but I can never really take him seriously as a vocalist. Definitely need to see them at some point.
