Venus as a Boy gets called one of her most romantic songs, but what do you actually hear in it?

The thing that I first heard on this one was the reggae-ish bassline. Now reading the lyrics I suppose I see the romance of the song. On first listen I find it hard to focus on words in her songs, though. There's so much going on with sounds, textures, melodies and the way she carries her voice through the mix...it's hard to digest the lyrics at all.
