Which of the four tracks would you point to first if you were trying to explain what Dimscûa is doing here?

It sounded to me like this is one piece of music. I guess if I had to choose it would be Existence (Futulity). That track really asked a lot of the listener, with a few segments that seemed to embody the overall intent of the album. (Especially that ambient feedback section at the end.)

That's a great point - I was thinking the same thing yesterday. The ambient feedback really prevents a resolve, but feeds directly into the next. I think if I had to choose, I'd go for Elder Bairn for the method, and Being and Nothingness to explain the point, purely because its so long, and the decay at the end is the product. I agree that it asked a lot - I found myself stopping and staring at nothing for minutes while listening....

@Pandoraoceanblu I found myself in a similar state while listening. The sounds kind of dominate the senses.

Existence Futility is a stand out because of the breakdown 2 minutes in. I loved the full throttle start to this, then bridges into this satanic march sound and lets it build until that 2 minute ending fade... thats how you end a show with this stuff!

They played a festival last week, and I caught a few live snippets - they look pretty good on stage!
