Does On Being and Nothingness feel like a real ending, or more like the record simply stops?

I thought it was a great close to the album. I was kind of shocked when the track first started playing, but the journey of it felt like it was a purposeful culmination to the songs that came before it.

Totally agree - I think it refuses to be a conclusion, but an ending that recedes, so it allows the feelings built throughout to remain, rather than conclude.

I feel this one is about 3 minutes too long. The opening of the song, while hauntingly visceral, lost its feel after 2 minutes and couldve gone into the doom much sooner

Having listened a little more, I think I'd agree it is a bit long. Shortening would hone in the impact.
