The Listening Room

I have no idea how I've never listened to Wiz before. Dude's from Pittsburgh! This album has such a organic feel. Can see how it ended up as a club pick.

Kind of hard to rate a mixtape against full albums. I loved this, though. There's obviously way less production behind it, but it never felt raw in any way. Super vibey. Light, simple lyrics. Could chill with this on a summer afternoon.

This might be a dumb question, but, for someone not super into hip-hop, mixtapes vs. full albums? Is it just a production thing? Are there other criteria/qualities that separate the two? Is the intent the same?
