How does You May Die (Intro) set up the world of the album before it even begins?

Curious if others have thoughts on this? It feels like the lyrics introduce place/ATL as a character in the album. The opening Portuguese prayer gives a sense of otherness that the alien theme expands on. It's also just a super cool, interesting way to open the album.

Man they rap SOOOO MUCH about AIDS and laying down with the wrong women or more so the fear of laying down with the wrong person is so prevalent on here. It really puts you in the mindset of a Young Adult in 1996 and their fears
