The Wall

by Pink Floyd · 1979

From dwilliams20Why are men so brutish and ignorant? Why do they ignore others? Why do they refuse help and let themselves go under? Why is the government filled with people like this? We do things only to serve our own needs until it drives us under and we become numb. Look at the government they are numb to are problems. War seems like a joke to them money overrides clear judgment. We suffer for there gread. What is the mask the hide behind. The are afraid naked alone. They have put a wall between themselves and the people they govern. The succumb to there own lust and gread yet are broken inside. Going to war continuing an disastrous conflict in Iran. Constant racism in Israel as supported by the government. We suffer monetarily. However, we are not the ones who need examined it is them. For causing fascism, destruction, and chaos. An album built form a tour of technical problems. Roger waters puts up a metaphorically wall between him and his fans. However, it is normalized that men will wall up there emotions and shove them deep. This is what happens an album a film to follow diving into the psychosis that happens to men. It is what happens because we for years stigmatized male mental health. It is getting better but still is not there yet. Look directly at our leaders and what will break them and snap them to look at the trauma and hurt they cause.
