From OkdukeApologies. I warned that I might reach outside the top 500. I said that I'd probably argue an LP should be in on the list. Well, I think that is true of this album, but it is not the reason. This is just a modest tribute t Glen Hansard who was apparently an incredible man that sang pretty well. I was introduced to him when he sang 'Falling Slowly' at the Oscars. It led me to this movie and soundtrack.
- Does Falling Slowly deserve its status as the signature song of this album, or is there a track you'd champion instead?1 reply
- How does knowing the film change your experience of these songs, and can they stand on their own without it?1 reply
- What does Markéta Irglová bring to this record that Glen Hansard couldn't have delivered alone?1 reply
- Say It To Me Now closes the album with just voice and guitar, so how does ending there land for you emotionally?1 reply
- Which song here would you most want to play for someone you were falling for but hadn't told yet?No answers yet
