Welcome to DJ POP-POP’s Eclectic Avenue, where genre boundaries are more like suggestions. Rock, pop, country, alternative, new wave, R&B, soul, hip-hop, yacht rock, hard rock, grunge, oldies — if I like it, it belongs here. Some weeks I'll follow a theme. Some weeks I'll disappear down a musical rabbit hole. Right now, I'm spotlighting artists from Portland and the Pacific Northwest that I grew up listening to — everyone from Dan Reed Network and Crazy 8s to Quarterflash, Everclear and The Dandy Warhols. The common denominator isn't genre. It's simply good music. If I likes it, I plays it.
