From JanglesThis one deserves a quick write up for context. Phish is my favorite band. They're probably my favorite anything outside of family and friends. They're sort of a beacon through which I live my life - an inspiration creatively, a reason to travel and see the world, the connective tissue that brings my friends together, the actual sounds that built my relationship with music. Without Phish, there's literally no Sound Club. I'm headed out tomorrow to meet friends in Wisconsin to go see show 134 and 135. It has me feeling nostalgic and thankful. One of those friends is @mc_benski. He put me on to Phish somewhere around sophomore or junior year of high school. '99ish. It was this album that he hit play on. I didn't really get it until around 2003 when I finally saw them live for the first time. I do remember this Wolfman's Brother, though. It was different than anything I had heard before. A bit too strange at first, to be honest. So, anyways, this is a pick to get me hyped for my trip and to show a little thanks for the guy that sent me down a path that I'm glad I took. Hope you all enjoy!
